1. How do I search for a home on the Hotline? Simply go to the "Visual Tour" page and click on the listing you would like to see. The area, style, and price, are all shown. After viewing if you would like to set up an appointment to see the listing or obtain more information call 1-800-887-7888.
You can also view the various listings by clicking on the Residential, Commercial, New Construction or Trade and Exchange buttons on the Home Page to view a map of Colorado with the location of the property. Simply click on the red dot on the map and a "Visual Tour" will begin.
2.Why aren’t the addresses included? Due to interpretation of local legal and business issues involved in displaying addresses COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE assigns a listing number to the property and has established an easy 1-800-887-7888 number to guarantee confidentiality at the same time making it easy for the prospective purchaser to arrange a private showing with the seller or Realtor of the property. A map display feature is provided that will allow the buyer to determine more closely the neighborhood and location of the property.
3. How can I get more information on a home that looks interesting? When the buyer finds a listing or house that they would like to know more about, they can simply call 1-800-887-7888 for more information or to set up a showing, or e mail to info@ColoradoRealtyHotline.com.
4. Why isn’t the city I want on COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE? New cities are coming on board every week. Our staff has access to homes and properties throughout the entire state of Colorado. If you don’t find the city or a house in the area you are looking for, simply dial 1-800-887-7888 and we will put you in touch with an experienced Realtor in the area you are searching.
5. How often are the listings updated? Generally, each site is updated on a weekly basis. As the listings sell they are removed and new listings added. Only listings categorized as "active" are shown.
6. I am looking for a place to rent, can you help me? We’re sorry, but we do not include rentals on our site.
7. I am looking for land, multifamily homes, or commercial property, can you help me? Currently, we do not include many "visual tours"of these property types. However, you can call 1-800-887-7888 to obtain a list of commercial, land, and income properties in your market area. COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE can also put you in touch with brokers that specialize in selling business opportunities like markets, liquor stores, gas stations, restaurants etc.
8. I am an investor looking for a tax free Trade or Exchange, can you help me? COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE has a special category of properties for trade and exchange. COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE can also refer you to brokers who specialize in locating "exchange properties" in your market area and will help you make all of the necessary arrangements to enlist the services of a qualified intermediary.
9. How long does it take for my property to appear on COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE? In the Denver-Boulder area it generally takes 2-3 days for the "visual tour" to get onto the site. COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE will take the photographs of the property. Realtors and owners may submit their own photographs if they prefer. Listings from other cities will require pictures to be sent to COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE and may take longer periods of time depending on when the photos are received .
10. How can I, the owner of a home, list my house "For Sale By Owner" on your site? Simply call COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE at 1-800-887-7888 and we will arrange an appointment for a FREE comprehensive market analysis of your property helping you establish the market value, and then a photo session of your property. Your house will appear in our For Sale By Owner category. You will be given a professional For Sale By Owner sign and access to the Hotline's toll free number. COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE will put you in touch with the necessary expert to help you with contracts, inspections, loan qualification information, title work, and appraisals. Once you have found a purchaser, COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE will help you write your contract and begin the closing process, making sure it moves fast and efficiently. There are NO REALTOR FEES paid. You save thousands in commissions!
11. How many times can I edit the text on my "visual tour", and how much does it cost to do it each time? There is no limit to the number of times you can edit the text on the property. Editing is free no matter how many times you make changes.
12. I'd like to be a sponsor and already have a Home Page. Can I link it to COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE? Yes. If you provide the URL address to your Home Page and any other information you would like listed.
13. How will I be notified of a potential buyer? Colorado Realty Hotline has 24 hour "live" secretaries who will answer questions or put you in touch with those that can. Some Realtors and owners have E-mail addresses, you will be notified through E-mail or by phone of any potential purchasers of your property that day.
14. I'm a Realtor and would really like to have a Home Page on COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE. What can I do from my end? Contact COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE at 1-800-887-7888 and ask about becoming a member. There is a $100.00 membership fee good for two years, that includes the cost of designing your Home Page (you supply a picture and a bio) and maintaining it. In addition there is a $40.00 set-up fee for a "visual tour" of each listing, (first 90 days are free). The property will stay on the internet until it sells and is closed. Each of your listings and links to your "Visual Tours" will be listed on your own web page. This way, you may advertise your own web address on brochures, signs, and in newspapers as a link to all your listings!
15. What if I don’t want to become a member and have a home page? COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE will still set up an "Inside Visual Tour" for non-member Realtors. There is a $75.00 set-up fee for a "visual tour" of each listing. The property will stay on the internet until it sells and is closed.
16. How will people driving by my house know that the property is on COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE? COLORADO REALTY HOTLINE will provide the owner a sign and a Realtor a metal rider that attaches to their existing sign that says:
"See inside ! WWW.ColoradoRealtyHotline.com" The web site may also be advertised on brochures giving the potential buyer the opportunity to preview the house via the Internet or after a showing to "refresh their memory".
