Jefferson County: A look at the largest county in Metropolitan Denver and the State

Jefferson county, the gateway to the Rocky Mountains, is only minutes from downtown Denver. With almost 500,000 residents, it is a place that values it’s business community and it’s quality of life. This is a climate where the sun shines almost 300 days out of every 365. Picnics in a saddlebag, a hike up trails, or a bike ride in one of the county’s open space parks. The internationally renowned Colorado School of Mines in Golden draws students from around the world. The county has it’s own airport with corporate hangars available, as well as it’s own US. customs facility. It is close to the University of Colorado in Boulder, and is home to Red Rocks Community College.
